Arrival in Ferrara!

My first week in Italy was super fun and also a little stressful. This is the first time I had traveled abroad on my own and this was also my first time in Italy. While we were going there, our flight was delayed, which made the process even more stressful. We finally arrived in Bologna, Italy 3 hours late. From there we took a bus to the city of Ferrara, which is where my program takes place. The city of Ferrara is absolutely beautiful! It's also called the city of bicycles because bikes are a more popular mode of transportation than cars.

The city dates back to the middle ages, so there is a lot of rich history and tons of historical sights to see including the Cathedral of Ferrara and the Castle Estense.
